visu_living-deadIn 2010, Frederick Galiay has the idea to re-edit Romero cult movie for a live performance with just sound and picture. The experience reveals him that this movie can take a different dimension when removed from almost all its dialogues. It gives space to a music he imagines abstract and disturbing, mostly performed live. Chronology is respected as well as the narration on the original movie.

In order to provide a sound imagery as breathtaking as the movie, Chamæleo Vulgaris brought back one of its former member, drummer and master of polyrhythm Franck Vaillant.

The horrifying power of the movie is increased by the strangeness of the music and it’s incisive matters and cutting rhythms.
