Its sloughing reveals a woman’s diary: on a life’s page writing itself, turning and starting again, hooked to walls of vertical threads like skins or paper sheets, she evokes cycles of life, of passing time and the intimate relationship she – and everyone – has with her body. Through a sound device created by composer Wilfried Wendling, the acrobat’s breath talks with poet Laurence Vielle’s vibrant words, getting spaces and body imaginaries – from inside and outside – in tune.
